Provided we are successful in clearing out the sand that has built up in the channel entrance to Big Charity Island boat basin by the end of May 2026 we will post a schedule for Day Trips to the Island Lighthouse.
In the Meantime here are details on how the trip will go;
Day Trips will typically depart at 10 am and return about 3 p.m.
The ride to the island will take about 55- 65 minutes and you will have about 3 hours on the island to enjoy a shore lunch at the pavilion, take in some island history and to take pictures up at the lighthouse. If weather is good the captain may opt to do a fly by of Gravelly Shoals lighthouse on the way back.
