Visit the Light - Charity Island Lighthouse

To all local non profit orginazations surrounding Saginaw Bay

Bob and I realize fund raising in local comminities, is more difficult than ever duePassengers disembark at Charity Island harbor to these economic times. We feel have come up with a way we think will help the communities in their efforts. We have set aside Sunday afternoons as Fund raiser days.

If your community has a non profit entity and want to go to the Island, we will have hot dogs/hamburgers, water, pop, and a small bag of chips for your group. The price of the ticket is $45.00 per person. We will donate $7.00 per person back to the orginazation.

You can taylor the day to your own enjoyment. The time on the Island will be approx. 3 1/2 hours. You are welcome to have local talent come entertain or play outdoor games, have 50/50 raffel, etc. The cooking will be done by your members. We have grills. Maybe they will want to bring a dish to pass or something as well. We can accommodate up to 98 people (2 boats).Lightkeepers House

We have a minimum of 40 people. Please pass the word to all your non profit groups. "Little leagues, cub scouts, historical societies, Kiwanis, Lyons, etc.) This is only offered at this time to Oscoda, Tawases, Arenac County, Bay county, Huron County).

Please do not hesitate to call or email me with any questions.
